Stockton-on-Tees

A Fairtrade Borough since July 2007

Stockton's campaign to become a Fairtrade Borough began in 2005, led by a dedicated officer of the Borough Council and supported by people from many walks of life and all age groups.

Now that the Borough has Fairtrade status the Partnership works to increase the awareness of Fairtrade throughout the towns and villages of the borough and to encourage people to buy and use Fairtrade goods whenever possible.

The Fairtrade Borough Partnership has people from local churches, the Borough Council, local schools and community groups represented as well as Queens Campus of Durham University.  We welcome anyone who is keen to help with the work.
